Concert

Revolte III _ Schlag drei _ Köln _ Genève

October 01, 2022

October 01, 2022 - time 20:30

Cologne, Alte Feuerwache, Germany

The REVOLTE music cycle is a manifesto. It aims to promote networking and exchange within the Latin American contemporary music scene in Germany and to create a new space for Latin American composers to articulate the countercultural and political critique of the current situation of repression and exploitation in the region.
For the third program of the cycle, Kommas Ensemble will collaborate with Ensemble Vortex (Switzerland). The ensembles will present together and each for itself 5 new pieces composed especially for this program. The new compositions will reflect on the social problems of the region. The selected group of composers is intended to be representative of the aesthetic diversity of new music in Latin America.
